|---|---|---|
| Bet | Description | |
| 1. | Plein | A chip can be wagered on any individual number, including zero (0). The chip is placed directly on the individual number. |
| 2. | Cheval | A chip can be wagered on any two adjacent numbers by placing the chip on the line dividing the two numbers. Note that a chip can also be placed on the line dividing zero (0) and 1, 2 and 3. |
| 3. | Transversale plein | This bet covers three numbers. The chip is placed on the outer boundary line of the roulette table, next to the corresponding row of three numbers. Note that street bets can also be placed on 0,1 and 2 as well as 0, 2 and 3. |
| 4. | Carré | This bet covers four numbers. The chip is placed on the cross where the four numbers intersect. You may also wager on 0, 1, 2 and 3 by placing the chip on the upper right boundary line of the roulette table between 0 and 3. |
| 5. | Transversale simple | This bet covers two street bets in adjecent rows (i.e. six different numbers in two rows of three numbers). The chip is placed on the outer boundary line of the roulette table, where it is intersected by the line dividing the two rows. |
Outside Bets | ||
| 6. | Column | On the short side of the roulette table, there are three unmarked boxes. By placing your chip in one of these boxes, you mark all twelve numbers above it (excluding 0). |
| 7. | Dozen | You can bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked P12 (1-12), M12 (13-24) and D12 (25-36). |
| 8. | Red/Black, Even/Odd, Manque/Passe | A bet placed in one of these boxes covers half of the roulette table numbers (excluding 0). Each box covers 18 numbers. Red/Black: Place bet in box with red or black symbol. Even/Odd: Place bet in box marked PAIR (even) or IMPAIR (odd). Low/High: Place bet in box marked MANQUE (1-18) or PASSE (19-36). |
In French Roulette, there are several types of announce bets, equivalent to call bets. Click ANNOUNCE BETS to open the announce bets dialog. When you move your cursor over the list of announce bets (1), the numbers covered by each bet are highlighted on the roulette table, and you can see total cost of the bet in the field (2) above the announce bet wheel (3). Click on a bet from the list to place it on the roulette table.
A bet can also be placed by clicking directly on a section of the announce bet wheel. Voisins du zero, Orphelins en plein, Orphelins a cheval, and Tiers du cylindre cover groups of numbers by dividing the roulette wheel into four areas. Finales en plein covers all numbers ending in the same digit. Finales a cheval covers all numbers ending in either of two digits.
A neighbor bet covers the numbers located next to a certain number on the roulette wheel. (For example, a 1-number neighbor bet on 25 would include 25 as well as 2, the neighboring number to the left, and 17, the neighboring number to the right.)
Click on NEIGHBOR BETS to open the neighbor bet dialog. Bet on 1, 2, 3 or 4 neighbors to a certain number by clicking on the appropriate button (2) under the neighbor bet wheel (1). When you move your cursor over the neighbor bet wheel, the numbers corresponding to a neighbor bet are highlighted on the wheel as well as on the roulette table. Click on the wheel to place your bet.
For your betting convenience, the five numbers that have won the greatest number of rounds are presented as "Hot Numbers" (3) while the five numbers that have won least are presented as "Cold Numbers" (4).
